• Must be 21 years of age to compete.

• Sing in the order you sign in at qualifiers. No skipping or switching spots.

• You can compete in multiple qualifiers until you are chosen to move on to the quarterfinals.

• Contestants cannot judge other qualifiers.

• Duets are allowed this year. You must qualify as a Duet if you move forward and throughout the championship. You cannot compete solo if you qualified as a duet.  You cannot compete as a solo and duet on the same night at the qualifier. If you qualified as a duet and change your mind after you qualified, you will be eliminated from the championship. No exceptions.

• You must select 2 songs. In the event of a tie, contestants will need to select a 3rd song.

•  Contestants cannot be related to or affiliated with the venue, KJ, employees, or judges.

•  Contestants may be asked to change their song if another performer has already selected it.

• The top 3 winners from the previous year must wait a year to re-enter the championship

• Most importantly...HAVE FUN!
