Bar Rules:

• •Quad Cities Karaoke Championship LLC is not responsible for equipment issues.

• •Bars should ensure all necessary equipment is functional before the event.

• •Ensure judges are secured and confirmed before the event starts (not contestants, friends, or staff directly involved in the competition)..

KJ Rules:

•  Follow the lineup sheet (singers perform in sign-in order; no skipping).

• Duplicate songs: Decide in advance whether the same song can be performed more than once per event.

• Breaks limited to 15 minutes (should not disrupt event flow).

• No additional entries once the championship has officially started.

• Warm-ups: Determine if contestants can perform a warm-up song before the contest.

• KJ must remain neutral (no favoritism, coaching, or influencing judges).

• Contest timing should be structured to keep the event moving efficiently.

Additional Rules: 

1. Start Time Requirement

Each qualifier round will begin promptly at the scheduled time, provided there is a minimum of four (4) registered contestants.

2. Judging Panel Minimum

Hosting venues are expected to have three (3) judges scheduled for each qualifier. However, a qualifier may proceed with a minimum of two (2) judges, if necessary.

3. Registration Cap

Each qualifier round is limited to a maximum of 25 contestants. Once this cap is reached, registration for that event will close (and the event can begin), even if it is before the scheduled registration end time.

4. Early Start Option

If the maximum number of 25 contestants is reached before the scheduled start time, the qualifier may begin earlier than listed.

5. Cancellation Clause

QCKC reserves the right to cancel a qualifier event if the minimum number of four (4) contestants is not met by the scheduled start time.
